To create the divine Le Soleil masterpiece, expert designers and adept artisans united their knowledge and talent in an exhaustive creative process. From the initial designs, presented in the form of gouache drawings, to the development of the three-dimensional models and the production of the pieces, a team of experts worked closely so that the creative spirit of the original sketches could be transformed into an exceptional work of art.
Crafting the extraordinary
In this magnificent suite, Mouawad designers drew inspiration from the inextinguishable flame of the glorious sun. For this, they focused on bringing out the revered beauty of five exceptional fancy intense yellow diamonds. The fancy-color diamonds were thus carefully placed at the heart of each piece, gently embraced by white diamonds of various shapes.
Set in 18-karat white and yellow gold, the yellow diamonds seemed to burst out from their ever-glowing, fiery white domain. Classic prong settings further enhanced this effect, giving the stones greater prominence by passing more light into their facets. The result is an extraordinary creation of unmatched poise, majesty, and beauty.
