It’s safe to say that 2020 was an extraordinary year in many ways. Yet, amid all the challenges that disrupted life as we once knew it, these months have also given us all an opportunity to rediscover what really matters to us most. It was a year in which we all reflected on the value of time and how we choose to spend it. This meant that we found beauty in quality moments and also rediscovered the extraordinary in the world around us, whether appreciating nature with a fresh eye or realizing that heroism is alive and well in our communities.

Indeed, this year reinforced our belief in humankind as a force for good, and reminded us that, no matter where we are in the world or who we are, we are connected as one community. When we look back on all of this, we realize more than ever that we all have the power to make a difference in 2021, to light up the lives of others through our individual deeds. When we unite, we have the possibility to create a legacy of brilliance.
